HP for schools: General

  1. This promotion is open to residents of mainland United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland only. No third party applications permitted.
  2. Claims for points may only be completed by officially registered and recognized schools, either state or independent (registered with the Department for Children, Schools and Families). The offer is not transferrable to another individual or business. Colleges and Universities are excluded.
  3. Claims for rewards may only be completed by officially registered and recognized schools, either state or independent (registered with the Department for Children, Schools and Families). The offer is not transferrable to another individual or business. Colleges and Universities are excluded.
  4. Parents cannot allocate points on behalf of their school.
  5. Points may only be claimed for by the employees of the registered school after purchase for that school has been made for school use.
  6. The instructions contained within the promotional website and the published process form part of the terms and conditions of the offer.
  7. This promotion is only open and applicable to the purchase of specific qualifying products; click here for a list.
  8. One point is awarded to the nominated school for every £1 (€1 in Republic of Ireland) (net) spent on qualifying products, as shown on the purchase invoice.
  9. We reserve the right to closely monitor usage of the promotional website, including users IP addresses, so that we may identify misuse, and disqualify applications if we have reason to believe the terms of the promotion have been breached.
  10. Personal Data given will be retained by HP Limited and contacts opted 'in' to communications may be targeted throughout unless otherwise opted 'out' of communications.
  11. If a claim is refused, because the Terms of the offer have not been met, the promoter’s decision is final. Hewlett-Packard reserves the right to withdraw the promotion without notice.
  12. In order to qualify, you must submit your completed application to claim points for a nominated school within 30 days of purchasing your product, by submitting an application you agree to these terms in their entirety.
  13. The promoter reserves the right to withdraw this promotion at any time, giving 60 days notice only to registered schools. Schools must claim their rewards during this period or forfeit the points collected.
  14. Provided that the terms and conditions of this promotion have been met, typically rewards will be sent in 30 to 56 days of a validated claim. There is no cash alternative, and all rewards are subject to availability so may be exchanged for another of no less value. Images of the rewards are for illustration purposes only and actual rewards may be differ slightly. All rewards are non-returnable. (For the Republic of Ireland, please be aware that sports equipment is being delivered from the UK so may take a little longer.)

    15. Double Points

  15. Any double points promotion are only available on specific ‘double points’ product listed on the promotional site during the specified time frame.
  16. Double point’s promotions run for a limited time only. Purchases must be made during the allocated time frame for the specific product for double points to be awarded.
  17. Products associated with double points promotions are subject to change and can be changed upon the instruction of the promoter at any time.

    19. HP Prize Draw

  19. The HP Prize Draw is open to parents and guardians of pupils attending participating schools.
  20. Participants can register a new school to be part of HP for Schools if they are not already registered.
  21. Participants can enter their chosen school into the HP Prize Draw as many times as they wish.
  22. Entries into the HP Prize Draw must be supported by proof of purchase that a HP product has been purchased.
  23. Participants have 30 days from the date of purchase to enter the school into the HP Prize Draw.
  24. Schools will be selected at random at the end of each month to receive free HP computer equipment.
  25. The computer equipment offered to the winning school may be subject to change on the instruction of the promoter.
  26. The promoter can withdraw the HP Prize Draw at any time without giving notice.
  27. Participants of the HP Prize Draw will not receive a prize, and participation in the HP Prize Draw assumes acknowledgment that any prizes associated with the entry will be awarded directly to the associated school.
  28. Prizes awarded to schools cannot be passed onto to any other party and must be used for the purpose intended at the winning school.
  29. The HP Prize Draw will run on a monthly basis and each month should be considered independent and separate.
  30. Winning schools will be notified by email or telephone to arrange delivery of their free HP equipment.
